I am a school districts Head Cook, I spend a lot of time on my feet on wet or greasy floors. To add to the picture-I have a bad back and knees! I recently bought the white Work Skechers, with the slip resistant bottom. I have to admit I was somewhat skeptical about the slip resistance statement, but was willing to try them since falling is one of my biggest fears. I want to give you a big thanks!! I love my shoes, they ARE certainly slip resistant, and they clean up beautifully!

I am 59 years old. My wife told me that Skecher shoes were for the 20 and 30 crowd, that I would look like an old man trying to be young and cool. I bought a pair of sneakers. I run several times a week and have spent a lot of money on the so called best running sneakers. Your sneaker at half the price was superior to the so called "premiere" running shoe. I am a faculty member at a Family Medicine Residency Program. As a physician working in both outpatient and inpatient setting I am required to move around a lot yet maintain a professional appearance. I started wearing Skecher's biker shoes the first year I started working as an intern. Soon enough I noticed the biker shoes become the "must have shoes" in our program. I just wanted to write and share the positive impact my first purchase of Skechers shoes has had on my life.

In July of 2006, I purchased my very first pair of Skechers. I teach high school mathematics and business in a city of about 10,000 people in eastern Montana. I was visiting my family in the state capitol, Helena, and made my purchase at Famous Footwear. It seemed like a lot to pay for a pair of shoes as I was accustomed to making my shoe purchases at large discount stores. When school started in the fall, my classroom was on the 3rd floor. Amazingly I found that at the end of a day, I felt much less fatigue when I was wearing the Skechers. Well, to make a long story short- I just purchased my 9th pair of Skechers last Saturday. You might wonder why?

Well, in the 2-year period, I have found new energy through several factors which include daily walking (5-7 miles) and losing 75 pounds. I have found that I can walk my daily route in any pair of Skechers that I have (including slip-on sandals).

This year I teach in two different classrooms (one on the 3rd floor and one on the 1st floor) so I am on the stairs many times during a day. I have very little to no trouble with stiffness in my feet or knees. I credit this to both the weight loss and the Skechers. The Skechers have made it possible to take the long walks with ease and comfort no matter what the weather is. This winter I had some very cold days to walk- even below zero with wind chill - and I always wore my Skechers.

I love Skechers and all the students in my Intro to Business/Personal Finance classes hear about my passion. My motto now has become "You get what you pay for in horses, winter coats, and shoes."

The first part of December I bought my first pair of Sketcher shoes. I have thrown the box away so I do not know the style name of this shoe. It is suede and leather with the cris-cross strap on the top that velcros on the side. I wanted to write you and let you know how very much I like the shoe! I am in retail and stand all day. These are the most comfortable shoes I have every worn. My feet and legs do not hurt at night while wearing these. I bought black and brown both so I could wear them all the time.
