My daughter got a pair of these shoes for her Birthday in September. She is 2yrs old and loves the ability to put them on herself and that they light up. The lights are colorful and very bright. Better then I expected. We got her another pair cause she loved these so much and wanted to wear them everyday. The downfall to these shoes is she the first pair she has only had for about a month and a half and they are wore out. The straps are worn and will not stay down. The toe where all the jewels and lights are is pulling apart and fraying from the shoes and around the lights. She did wear them everyday for a month and now they are her play shoes and the other pair we only use when going out cause afraid they will be in the same shape soon. I love sketchers and have several pairs myself and have never had a problem with quaility but for the price of these shoes for a toddler they should hold up longer then a couple of months.

My daughter received these for Christmas and absolutely loved them. However, yesterday, Jan 8, the left shoe stopped lighting up. They are too expensive not to work. Also I would think that for small children's shoes they would have the tab on the heel that makes them easier to get on. They are kind of hard to get on her feet because of the way the shoe is shaped. I had another pair of sketchers and had a quality problem as well. I'm not sure I will buy any more.

Any little girl will love this. It's pink, it's got hearts, it's got stars, and it's sparkly. Any parent would love this, it's practical, it's sturdy and it's easy to put on.

My daughter had a previous pair when she was 16 months. She used it almost everyday and outgrew it before it looked worn out. I'm hoping the same for this one.

I bought these for my 15-month-old daughter in a size 7n, which is too big for her right now. I'm saving these so I won't have to run searching for a new pair when she outgrows her 6n light ups. When I ordered, the site didn't list them as light up shoes. Three little jewels in front and two on the side do light up. Just wish they had some more lights on them. The silver color is really pretty, and they remind me of her first shoes. Definitely a good looking pair that has Skechers' quality.

I bought these shoes for my 16 month daughter and absolutely love them! They are so adorable and she loves to see them light up. She wore them to the boardwalk the other night and was the center of attention. I would recommend them to all little girls

All the lights have stopped working on one of the shoes. How can I replace the battery to see if that fixes this issue?

              A:

The battery on the kids' light up shoes are not designed to be replaced at home. You may want to see if a shoe repair shop could do it. Usually the lights mechanism with the battery is located in the midsole of the shoe.

My daughter's twinkle toes have a light that will not go off. I'm afraid the rest of the lights will quit working if the one stays on all the time. Any ideas on how to fix it?

Some customers have had success by either taking the shoe heel first and giving it a couple of good whacks against a solid surface, or by leaving the shoe upside down for a little while.

It looks like the conversion should be a NZ size 6 is equal to a USA size 7.5, and a NZ size 4 is a USA size 5.5.

Currently SKECHERS does not sell replacement sequins for the shoes, but they are pretty much standard sized sequins, many craft stores or art supply stores sell these in different colors.

It looks like the Brite Wing should be coming back into stock in a toddler size 8 around mid August, or you could always go for the next size up, size 9, which is in stock now.

I usually don't recommend machine washing shoes, especially light-up shoes, as it may damage the lights. Instead I recommend that you try hand washing the shoes using mild soap or diluted laundry detergent, warm water and a soft cloth.

The Brite Wing shoe actually doesn't come in a size 10.5 - that's considered a preschool size, and this shoe is only made in toddler sizes. There do not appear to be any light up Twinkle Toes in stock currently in a size 10.5 or 11, except for the Flash n Fancy light up boot. There are some Bella Ballerina shoes in stock, which are one of the hottest shoes for girls this season.

It does look like the Brite Wing should be coming back into stock in a size 9, but unfortunately it does not appear to be coming back until February for the silver and early April for the other colors.

            • CUSTOMER CARE

              A:

Size 6 for a 2nd grader would not be a toddler shoe, that would be a size 6 in a preschool/grade school child size. The Brite Wing does not come in that size.
