I wanted to use this product to help me at the register since I stand all day, tried it on, walked around in it then the arch in my feet started hurting I would have brought another type of product if I had known that this product would be uncomfortable. After standing in them for a good while I could barely walk by the time I got back home my feet were hurting so badly. Nice product but just not for me. The product is comfortable and stylish but I just can not wear them. If I can't wear the product why can't I bring them back to the Skecher store and exchange them for a product that doesn't hurt my feet product cost too much, it's bad business if the customer is not satisfied with the product they purchased but your insisting that they customer has to keep the product even if it hurts their feet, that is not good customer service for your business to prosper your customer has to be happy with the product that they purchased if not they should be allowed to exchange the product for something that doesn't hurt their feet or their money refunded

Comments about Synergy - Trend Setter:

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I wear them every day, for every activity (i.e. walking, working, hiking, exercising, etc) I generally wear these shoes about twelve to fourteen hours a day so one pair usually lasts me about a year. I consider this to be exceptional durability.

Love these shoes, have them in the brown color though. The bad deal for me is that they no longer make them in the brown color. Last time I ordered them I ordered 2 pair so I will have a pair when one breaks down after 6-8 months of being on my feet 5 days a week for work. Very comfortable.

I bought these Synergy - Trend Setter, for my wife for Christmas. She is on her feet constantly through out the day. Because of this she has knee problems, after wearing these shoes for one day she had no problems with her knees or feet, the second day was better than the first, I would recommend these shoes time and time again. The reward of my wife having no pain is awesome. Thank you Skechers :O)

            Q:

I like these shoes, but I get shocked (bad, like sparks and lots of pain) getting out of the car and at work when I touch anything, more so than any shoes I have ever owned. I don't have that problem with the Just Relax shoes. Do you have relaxed fit boots and hiking shoes for women without this type of sole?

              A:

I'd advise trying the Skechers GOwalk Outdoors shoes for hiking, they have very good traction outsoles that should be less shocking as well.

is the SYNERGY - TREND SETTER waterproof?

            • Staff Reviewer

              A:

The Synergy - Trend Setter is not waterproof as it comes. You can apply a leather-specific rain and stain product to the leather upper to make it water resistant.

            Hi,
I wondered if these shoes would be considered "slip resistant" I am a waitress and a girl at work wears these..she said they don't slip but I am worried about falling at work.

            • Staff Reviewer

              A:

The Synergy - Trend Setter has a good traction outsole, but they are not considered to be a shoe with a Slip Resistant outsole, which is a specific type of sole required by many workplaces. There are similar models available in the Work category that do have that type of outsole though.

            Q:

I just purchased shoes #11717 and #49013. Are they machine washable? I always throw my current sketchers in the wash, and they've lasted forever....still wearable! If not, how do you recommend cleaning them?
Asked on 8/28/2015 by MamaG from El Mirage, Az

            1 answer

            • Staff Reviewer

              A:

Both of these shoes are not meant to be machine washable, the Trend Setter has a leather upper, and the Totem Pole has a suede upper. I would advise using a leather and/or suede cleaning product on the upper for best results. However, if you have been seeing satisfactory results machine washing any leather or suede shoes, you may want to try that at least with the Synergy. I would not recommend machine washing the suede ones though.

Would these shoes be a good shoe for diabetic ?
Asked on 8/6/2015 by Jeff from Mesa,AZ

            2 answers

            • A:

Although I am not a diabetic, I have incredibly painful foot issues and these are the only shoes I can even wear that are not backless (like flip flops or clogs). I do a lot of manual labor at work (loading trucks, climbing truss, pushing 2000 lb boxes over carpet) and I don't have issues from my shoes. I tie them loosely and they are super comfortable. If you also tie them loose enough to slip on they should be good for you, as they are very cushioned and comfortable. These are not shoes you will need to worry about causing problems with your circulation, especially if you are wearing flat-seam or seamless socks. No problems, not even for a 20 hour day mostly standing on concrete.

The Synergy shoe should be nicely lightweight, well padded and supportive. It has a soft smooth fabric lining.

The Elite line of shoes are all sporty lightweight shoes with full length Memory Foam insoles and the Synergy model outsole. They're a 'classic look' design shoe. The Memory Foam is not much different from the regular Skechers Memory Foam sport insole.

Could you list the model number(s) Tim? All I see under "Classics" have useless, non-cushioning memory foam and/or are leather that I do not prefer. I meet mobility-challenged people all the time that lament you no longer offer the sturdy, long-lasting, well padded sneakers that you used to in multiple colours....find the old vendors that made them right and bring them back please!

It looks like there is a big shipment of these in the all black coming around the end of May. These particular shoes feature the Memory Foam insole, but there are several alternatives in an all black comfort sneaker, like the D'Lite SR, Felix - Doozer, and even the GOwalk 2 - Flash LT models.
