Tone ups feel great on your feet. To get the benefits from these shoes you should walk a least 30 mins a day. I did feel greater use of butt and calf muscles. Have had them for about a month and my legs are starting to become firm. Note, I don't walk in them every day, about 2-3 times a week.

The shoes feel GREAT! Support and bounce. But, after wearing them a couple months the gray reflective "stickers" on the toe and inside have curled and peel. Most are off. The pink striping detail also came off, so as a nurse, they look very shabby way too soon! Mesh keeps feet cool and dry. Lighter than the Shape ups. Very disappointed in the rapid deterioration of appearance.

I have not had one twinge of pain from my heel spurs nor my arthritis in my knee since I first wore these shoes. They are comfy and feel almost "springy"--in that I feel like I bounce a bit on rough terrain. I recommend them to everyone I know.

Which Skechers are best suited, most popular for Zumba? Need lots of cushioning, must allow for easy pivoting without torquing the knee.

I would recommend something in our new flexible line of athletic shoes like the Shape-ups LIV, Tone-ups Run or Tone-ups Flex. They're super lightweight and ideal for quick movements.

Could you please point me in the right direction to the shoe that is suppose to firm and tone your butt and legs ?? Just lost 80 pounds and have a lot of toning up to do thank you

            A:

I would recommend you look at something in our Shape-ups or Pro collections. The S2 Lite, ProSpeed, Pro Resistance or Pro-TR shoes should be able to help with toning and firming.

I would recommend the Tone-ups Run more for running or jogging, but you should be able to do some interval jogging in the Ready Set Tone shoes.

        • Q:

I take hip hop and bollywood dance. I also walk a lot on flat surfaces and up and down stairs. Which Sketchers shoes do you recommend? I want to tone my calves, upper thighs, derriere, and stomach. I also have arthritis in my knees.

            A:

I would suggest you take a look at the Shape-ups Liv or ProSpeed shoes - they're very lightweight and good for a variety of activities, plus the rocker bottom design gives you a toning effect and helps cushion your knees.

Very few of the Tone-ups Fitness shoes currently come in a wide width. The Ready Set Move in black is available in wide 8.5.

Yes, that should be fine. The Tone-ups Fitness shoes are good for most low and high impact fitness activities.

I would like to know the difference between the Tone-up Fitness- Ready Set Tone and the Tone-up Fitness Ready Set?

          • CUSTOMER CARE

            A:

There isn't much difference, both shoes are built on a similar design, there are a couple of small differences in looks but they are essentially the same shoe.

        • Q:

I have a pair of the Skechers shape ups and love them. I want to purchase a new pair. Just wondering which is better for walking - the shape ups or the tone ups.

          1 answer

          • CUSTOMER CARE

            A:

I'd recommend the Shape-ups Toners if you want a bit more stability and support, and the Tone-ups Fitness if you want a bit lighter weight. Both are very good for walking.

        • Q:

Every pair of Sketchers I buy has to be one size up. I noticed a lot of people say this style (Ready Set Tone) is true to size and wondering if I should buy my actual size or the same one size up as before. Any ideas?

          • CUSTOMER CARE

            A:

I would stick with what you are doing - if you normally wear your SKECHERS at a certain size, that should be the size you order in these shoes too.

        • Q:

I bought the Skechers tone-ups and I was wondering is it is okay to run in them. I needed a shoe that I can walk around in on a busy day, work-out in and run in. It wasn't until I already put them on did I concerned myself with "is it okay to run in them". Will they be damaged if i do?

          • CUSTOMER CARE

            A:

It's not really recommended to run in the Tone-ups Fitness trainers, though some interval jogging is fine.
