I use these shoes for work, standing on hard floors, they have memory form! Could stand arch support and thicker memory form, but still love these shoes!

I bought these to use my 12 hour hospital job, as I'm on my feet and very busy the whole shift. These shoes looked like they would be good for that, however, they quickly proved to be uncomfortable and I changed to another pair. These are just sitting in my closet and won't be worn much. They look attractive, and feel ok for a quick walk in the park, but if you want something for a long day, look for something else. The other pair I bought at the same time, (Women's Flex Appeal 2.0-Break Free) as I bought this pair are great, I wear them all the time!

I'm on my feet all day. These are so comfy! I wear them 14 hrs a day most days, they hold up well and my feet aren't sore at the end of the day. I own two pairs and plan on ordering more. The pair I bought last year are still in like new condition and wash well. Very well constructed! Love them!

Customers have told us that the well cushioned heel and Air Cooled Memory Foam insoles on the D'Lites shoes are very good for comfort and support.

              A:

Many shoes are available that should provide heel comfort and arch support, including the D'Lites sneakers, Burst sneakers, and Skechers GOwalk 4 walking shoes.

          • D'lites - Life Saver

            Q:

I am a nurse and wear Biggest Fan and/or Life Savers in wide widths in navy to coordinate with my scrubs. (Would love to see
brighter colors in these shoes for a more feminine look.) I am considering the black/blue Conroe wide width shoe for a change. My worry is these might look even more masculine (in person) than the Biggest Fan/Live Savers. Can you given me a comparison on the looks of Conroe compared to the others above?
Asked on 2/27/2017 by Barbara from Louisiana

            1 answer

            • Staff Reviewer

              A:

The Conroe is a Work slip resistant and ESD (static dissipative) shoe, but it looks pretty sporty despite its function. You may find it's a little more sturdy in the sole compared to the more purely athletic D'Lites, but the uppers are nicely lightweight on the Conroe and should be very comfortable with both a Relaxed Fit design and Memory Foam insole.

The D'Lites shoe would be an excellent choice for long lasting comfort and support. They have a substantial heel and the Air Cooled Memory Foam insole for cushioning.

              A:

If you are looking for a slip resistant soled shoe for a workplace requirement, I recommend looking at shoes in the Work category. Those shoes are tested and rated for slip resistance to meet or exceed a .5 coefficient even on wet and oily surfaces. The D'Lites shoes are not a slip resistant work design, so their slip resistance is not tested.
