I use these shoes for work, standing on hard floors, they have memory form! Could stand arch support and thicker memory form, but still love these shoes!

I use the sketchers d'lites life savers for everyday shoes to walk in. I purchased a wide fit, but they are really tight. I always buy sketchers in the wide fit, and these shoes are uncomfortable compared to other wide fit sketchers that I have purchased in the past. I'm still trying to break them in hoping that they become more comfortable. I do really like the look of the shoe pink/black/silver.

      • D'lites - Life Saver

        Q:

I have horrible feet! I work in retail and am on my feet standing mostly in one spot for hours! I need a shoe with full support and great heel strength. I don't need it to flatten out, but need it to be a cloud cushion all day. Can you help me?

          A:

The D'Lites shoe would be an excellent choice for long lasting comfort and support. They have a substantial heel and the Air Cooled Memory Foam insole for cushioning.

        Q:

Is this a good option for the no longer available wide width rocker bottoms? If not, what would you recommend as the best option? I am lost without the rockers :(

I'd recommend giving the Skechers GOwalk 4 in the wide fit a try, they are very comfortable and supportive for walking.

I need to know how slip resistant they are ?
Asked on 9/4/2016 by Carol from Michigan

        1 answer

        • Staff Reviewer

          A:

If you are looking for a slip resistant soled shoe for a workplace requirement, I recommend looking at shoes in the Work category. Those shoes are tested and rated for slip resistance to meet or exceed a .5 coefficient even on wet and oily surfaces. The D'Lites shoes are not a slip resistant work design, so their slip resistance is not tested.

        Q:

Do these laces have to be tied or are they a slip-on type with the stretch lace?
Asked on 8/26/2016 by barbie1946b from Avilla, IN

        1 answer

        • Staff Reviewer

          A:

This particular D'Lites model has laces that tie. There are some upcoming D'Lites shoes that have the stretch front panel and slip on.

Yes, you should be able to remove the Air Cooled Memory Foam insole with a little bit of extra pull.

          A:

The Skechers D'Lites is meant for use as a walking, training or casual wear shoe. It could be used for cross training including some interval jogging. For running I would recommend shoes in the Skechers GOrun collection.

      • D'lites - Life Saver

        Q:

Does the D'lites-Life Saver in 10 wide fit like relaxed fit? I have only had 2 pair of Skechers-both were relaxed fit Skech-Airs.
        Asked on 6/14/2016 by Sharon

        1 answer

        • Staff Reviewer

          A:

The women's D'Lites in the Wide Fit should fit a women's D width, so it would be just a bit wider than the Skech-Air in the Relaxed Fit.

      • D'lites - Life Saver

        Q:

I ordered a pair of D'lites in 9 1/2 medium width. They are a bit short and slightly narrow for me. If I get a size 10, will it be both a little longer AND a bit wider? I fear ordering larger in a wide width will be too big.
Asked on 6/12/2016 by Susan from Boston, MA

        1 answer

        • Staff Reviewer

          A:

If you order the D'Lites in a size 10, they will be a little longer, but they should not be too much wider, just a little bit. If you don't normally wear a wide width, you may want to try the size 10 medium in these.

        Q:

what is the difference between the
        D'LITES - LIFE SAVER and
        D'LITES - CENTENNIAL
        They look the same
        Thanks
Asked on 2/10/2016 by Barb from Holt, Mi

        1 answer

        • Staff Reviewer

          A:

The two shoes are very similar looking, but the D'Lites - Centennial is the classic design with a regular cushioned insole. The Life Saver is the newly introduced version of the shoe with an Air Cooled Memory Foam comfort insole. That is the main difference between the two shoes.

        Q:

Could you please let me know where I can find in the shoe if it is a wide fit or medium fit? I see the shoe marked as 6US but not sure how to tell if it is wide or medium. Thanks!
Asked on 1/16/2016 by Aruna from Albany, NY

        1 answer

        • Staff Reviewer

          A:

A wide width would be marked as 11860EW on the box and on the label, and on skechers.com it is called 11860 Wide. If it has none of these markings noting that it is a wide fit, then it will be a medium width shoe.
