I absolutely love these shoes!

These shoes are stable for walking but without the hassle of laces. I have many issues with foot pain and I can wear these shoes all day.

I have been wearing Skechers for years and loved them, I always bought the lace up slip on sneakers, held up great, loved the arches,I am on my feet all day, I do home care. For some reason now memory arches and stopped making the sneakers that lace up. I just bought 3 pairs and I tried one pair for two days and horrible,my feet were slipping in the shoe, felt like I was going to slip out of them. I need my lace up ones back. Please make them again and give me my great arches!!

              Q:

what does 1 1/4 inch built in heel mean?

              • Staff Reviewer

                A:

The D'Lites shoes have a 1 1/4 inch heel measured from the ground to where your heel sits in the shoe. It's not an external heel, it's built into the midsole of the shoe.

There are some available for men - check out the Equalizer - Coast to Coast or the After Burn Memory Fit - Chamlan models, which are similar low backed slip on sneakers.

Are you going to increase your selection of slip-one? I have purchased these for years and the selection has gone from many to a very few choices. I live in these.

                A:

There are a few more slip on sneaker clogs (what we call a low backed slip on sneaker) than usual right now, 18 different models including the popular D'Lites and revived Premium designs. There are also some casual sneaker clogs including the Easy Going - Repute and several BOBS Keepsakes slipper type clogs.

              Q:

Are these suitable for brisk walking - we walk about 1 mile in 15 minutes. I need adequate cushion and shock absorbency. I am looking at backless because I get blisters with every sneaker/sock combination I have tried. I have a narrow foot, size 10 so my only other concern is it may slip off. I know they are backless, but if the front is snug enough, they may stay put better. Thanks!

              • Staff Reviewer

                A:

The D'Lites Resilient should be very good for walking - the lowered back does stay on the foot with a comfortable fit in the toe and arch. The Memory Foam insole does help with fit even on a more narrow foot.

                A:

The D'Lites Resilient model is not currently made in a Wide Fit version. Not every shoe gets made in a Wide. This may change in the future, but the low backed shoes usually don't get a wide.

I was in JC Penney Store today & saw a Sketchers flex with Air -cooled Memory Foam. one was in a size 6 h M and another was just 6M. 6h M was larger than the 6M. What does 6h M mean?

              • Staff Reviewer

                A:

Usually that stands for size 6 1/2 - the h denotes the 'half' and the M stands for Medium, which in women's shoes is a B width.

                A:

The Resilient is a low backed version of the D'Lites - Me Time with the same heathered fabric panels. That version is a lace-up, though. I think there may be a slip on stretch laced version coming soon as well.
