The Gorun 4,5 or whatever are nothing like the old Gorun 2 for my husband and I. We've gotten and retuned or donated every subsequent version since the Gorun2 as none had the arch support and flexibility it had. On our first run in the current version we both had Achilles' tendon problems, and promptly returned them. I keep hoping another version will be comparable, but they just aren't. They hurt. I am wondering if Gomeb 3 is similar to the old Gorun2. Oh, and I still wear the Gorun2 even though mine are very worn out. They are the only running shoe that ever felt good for me.

Going to disagree with other answer. I'm getting ready to try the GoMebs because the GoRuns have lost a great deal of the support/structure the GoRun 2 had. I used to wear those shoes ALL the time and I worked up to 12 hours on my feet and then go for a run afterward and they NEVER hurt. I have high arches that don't respond to typical inserts and a wide front and the 2s were fantastic - plenty of support in the middle and lots of room for my toes to spread, but my feet haven't done as well in any of the later "models". My feet actually get sore after 3 miles of light jogging in my current GoRuns. My biggest problem with the current GoRuns is how they've diminished the support "hump" in the midsole. When you have high arches, that thing is a lifesaver. Without it, you honestly could just buy another brand off the shelf. The later shoes also feel heavier and have higher sides. If the GoMebs aren't at least comparable to the GoRun2 then I'm going to have to find another brand. Good luck!

The Skechers GOrun 4 should feel like the Skechers GOrun 2 to most runners, they are both a minimal effect neutral running shoe, though I have had some runners tell me that the Skechers GOrun Ride 5 also feels like the GOrun 2.
