I want to start by saying that I never write reviews...But I just absolutely Love these shoes! I dont think I have ever purchased shoes that were this comfortable from the first time I put them on to the thirtith time. I wear a 9 Wide and have always found it difficult to find comfortable yet stylish shoes that fit well. In the past when I have tried Sketchers on, they were always too narrow for me. I was looking for some black casual shoes to wear with jeans when I ran across these in Wide. My only disappointment is that they do not have more of a color selection in Wide. I REALLY want these in brown/toffee. Hopefully someone who makes those decisions will read this review. :-)

Overall, I will give these shoes a B. I bought them last-minute before travelling to D.C., since my other shoes had a sudden mishap. I've only had them a few weeks, and at first they were a little too snug but have since then begun to loosen up a little after wearing them so much. I would recommend trying them on a half-size bigger than you usually buy, or find socks that will work (I ended up cutting a few pairs of my own socks to fit, since the top of the shoe ends about half-way up your foot). I tried wearing them without socks for the first few days to break them in, big mistake! these shoes tend to pinch the top of my foot, hence the socks, but that may just be my personal experience so don't take my word on that. I think they could also use more cushioning, so if your feet become sore easily I would recommend Scholl's or something similar, especially if you plan to wear them for travelling or long days. I do think they are cute and seem durable (we'll see!), and relatively comfortable.

Comments about skechers BIKERS - POINT BLANK:

I purchased these shoes for walking but when they arrived they were so stylish until I decided to use them for casual wear instead. I do notice that I have to wear a thinner black sock with them because they actually doesn't look right with the regular white sock. The traction once wet and walking on tile isn't the greastest.

There were more in stock, but they sold out pretty quick. It looks like more sizes are coming in early May. You may want to put in an email request for your specific size and color and an email will automatically be sent to you when the size is back in stock.

Are you discontinuing the black and charcoal bikers point blank from your line. If so, why would you do so. I have several pairs in various colors and many people have asked me what brand I am wearing so they can purchase them. At this time I am trying to purchase three additional pairs of the black and charcoal but cannot find a single pair anywhere unless you are a size 5.5. Please respond.

The Point Blank is not being discontinued in the black/charcoal. There should be more stock coming in this shoe around February.

I have a shoe that I have had for years & love, but I need to replace them because I have worn them out. They say SN 21361 inside on the label. Are they the Point Blank style? They are the most comfortable I have ever had.

              A:

21361 is actually the Bikers - Grapevine, but they are virtually identical to the Point Blank, so that would be a good shoe to get if you like the Grapevine.

The Point Blank is nicely light weight, about 9 to 14 oz. per shoe depending on size.

I tried these on and they were a much more narrow fit than I expected. Do all of the Bikers styles have this snug/narrow fit?

            • CUSTOMER CARE

              A:

All Bikers have the same basic fit and feel, but some of the bungee shoes tend to be a bit more close-fitting due to the slip on design.

I have point blank in black, but thinking of buying grey/grey. Will you have grey/grey for point blank in size 8 m. If not, I am thinking of buying dream come true in grey. Does the later fits exactly the same as point blank?

              A:

It looks like the Point Blank in grey is sold out, so I'd recommend you get the Dream Come True. It should fit pretty much the same as the Point Blank as the two shoes share the same midsole and outsole design.

Currently many women's SKECHERS shoes come in a wide width, which is a D width. There are some newer shoes coming out later in the year that are slated to be available in a women's WW or 2 Wide width, this is going to be called the Comfort Fit collection.

I have a very bad back with a rod down my back and a rod on each hip. I need a very low heel shoe, but one with good support. The shoes with the curved bottom throw me off balance. I have purchased Skechers before, but am unable to find the same ones. My Skechers run from tennis shoes to the more dressy shoes. My Skechers are wearing out and I need to order new ones. You may want to take a look at the Tone-ups Run or Tone-ups Flex shoes. Both give very good support and cushioning and they do not have the rocker bottom design. I'd also recommend looking at Compulsions or Speedsters casual sneakers, they are a lower profile design but should have good support and comfort.
