I wear these shoes everyday. They are very comfortable and very cute. I wear them with my jeans and also with capri's and shorts. Because they are slip ons they look great with or without socks. This is my third pair of this exact shoe. I've also had back surgery a few years ago and I wear my tennis shoes everywhere. With these shoes my back feels great. I've had 3 children and my only regret is I didn't find these shoes until after all my pregnancies. They would have been great, slip on and comfortable.

I bought these shoes for my Daughters 12th birthday.Thats all she asked for:) I got her a size 7 thinking she might have a little growing room but they did'nt. Her birthday is Feb 19 but i gave them to her last week. She only wears them to school and changes into her old gym shoes for PE.I want them to last! The stiching is already starting to come undone? I myself have bought skechers for the past 7 years and I Love them as you can tell.I was alittle dissapointed with my recent purchase! For the money is spent i should have received a quality better then i got.I do not want to send them back because my daughter loves them. She's only 12 some stiching coming undone is no concern to her..all she was worried about is not having them for possibly 3 weeks..kids .. so I just wanted to to know my concern.ThankYou for your time and letting me place this review. I have worn these shoes for many years. They are stylish and durable. I've had five hip replacements, so support is very important. They provide me with confidence that there will be no slippage and they hug my feet like gloves. Try a pair...you won't be disappointed!

Bright Eyes: what's the weight? Are they light weight like the D'Lites-Opal shoe, 12-16 oz?
Asked on 10/18/2012 by Carol Questioner

              1 answer

              • CUSTOMER CARE

                A:

The Premium sneaker design is a bit heavier than the D'Lites sneaker design, I'd say about 14 to 19 oz. per shoe depending on size. The Premium sneakers are more supportive and stabilized than the D'Lites as well.

I really hope not, this is the most comfortable shoe that comes in a wide width for people with neuropathy and arthritis.

            • Q:

How high is the heel part of the (top part) of the shoe? I have problems with achilles tendon irritation, and need a shoe with the "low back" so it does not irritate my heel.

                A:

The lowered back of the Bright Eyes is about 1/2 inch to 2/3 inch. It should just cover your heel but it should not affect your achilles.

These shoes support my falling arches and the back of my ankles. I hope this helps. The benefit of being a slip on is that the back is low. Try them.

              • A:

These are a slide, so there is no back on them. They would be great if the heel is an irritation for you.

            • Q:

I am looking at getting the Womens Premium Bright Eyes in a 9 Wide but I am afraid that the wide may be too wide. I have had previous foot surgeries but now my right foot little pinkie is really giving me problems and the nail had to be shaved off due to walking on it. I think I need the wide for the right foot but worry the left may be too wide. I have not purchased a wide in any type of shoe like this but I do know that a lot of medium width shoes would be too snug on the right foot and would rub. Has anyone had any similar circumstances? Do you think the wide would be the right choice in this style or is the medium wide enough in the toe bed side? Thanks so very much!

                A:

If you feel that you need a wide width for comfort, I'd advise you to try that first. If you think a wide may be too wide on one of your feet, you could always add an insole, arch support or heel cup into that one shoe to make up some of the width.

              • A:

The medium width is too narrow for me. I also have had several foot surgeries and understand your problem. I have not tried the wide width so cannot comment on that.

              • A:

I've had surgery on both feet and getting the right fit and comfort is always a problem. I've found that the toe area of the Bright Eyes is ample enough to accomodate my wider left foot without getting the wide size. You might consider going a half size larger also. Check out Skecher's return policy before you buy.

I would recommend cleaning the leather parts of the Bright Eyes with leather cleaning lotion or spray, and the non-leather parts with mild soap, warm water and a soft cloth. I do not recommend machine washing this shoe as it may damage the leather upper.
