    Comments about Relaxed Fit: Optimizer:

I have a painful Mortons Neuroma on my left foot. I use a metatarsal pad for every pair os shoes and sneakers I own, except for my three pair of Skechers. No pain at all with normal use due to the cushioned sole. Great shoes.

Was having really bad problems with my feet being in so much pain with other trainers I thought I would give sketchers ago, all I can say is wow I noticed a difference almost immediately within half a day the pain had gone and I could walk freely again. There more comfortable than my slippers ! I will be buying a pair for indoors

I am on my feet for 12 hr. shifts and these are the most comfortable work shoes I have used in a 39 year career. Foot bed and liner provide excellent support and cushioning to mid and fore foot. I have no cons to report for this product.

                Q:

For the wide version, is there or is there not a a 4E label engraved within a circle as there is on the soles of the EWW Bursts (Pinky side, middle), Equalizer 2.0s (Big toe side, middle) and Afterburns (center bottom of heel). Thank you.

                  A:

I haven't seen the outsole of the wide width version personally, but if the other Extra Wide Width shoes have that 4E label, there should be one on this version as well.

                Q:

Is this a 4E shoe? It's listed on another major online retailer as a 2E shoe. On the sole, is there a 4E label engraved within a circle as there is on the soles of the EWW Bursts, Equalizer 2.0s and Afterburns?

                  A:

The Optimizer shoe comes in the Extra Wide Fit, which is a 5E width and should fit a 4E width very well.

                Q:

In the past I've been very happy with Skechers shoes with serial numbers that end in "EW", eg, "1234EW". Is the EW for extra wide? I see this shoe has medium and extra wide, but wide is not available. I've ordered these, and the size shows "8.5 EWW". Where do I find out more to be sure I get the exact width I've found in the past? They are the only shoes I've found that don't cause me a lot of pain, I like skechers because you offer this range in ordering, and I am a loyal customer for it -- thank you for great width !!

                  A:

When you see a style number with the suffix EW, that refers to a men's Wide Fit, which for Skechers is a 3E width. The Extra Wide Fit suffix is EWW, which is more like a men's 5E width. This shoe is currently made in Extra Wide Fit and Medium. Several other similar models are made in the Wide Fit option.
