I got this shoe 2 years ago. I have severe foot problems with a high arch. This shoe in wide was one of the few shoes that are comfortable for me -- wide flat sole for stability, low treads that don't get caught and stumble me so easily, and flexible and soft enough for arch to stretch out. Then they discontinued the line and I was so sad. But today I logged on and see them again. I ordered them right away, I have confidence they will help relieve my foot pain again. I hope Skechers continues this line of shoe into the future. It really helps to alternate weekly between the work boots when I need firm support and these walking shoes when I need the foot / ankle to relax and stretch.

        Comments about Flex Advantage 2.0:

I have a small foot with a high arch so it has always been difficult for me to find shoes in my size. To get what I need I usually have to order online. Without a doubt, these Flex Advantage 2.0 shoes are the best fitting, most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever owned. Not only does the memory foam insole and springy sole make walking a pleasure, but they are light weight and breathe when I walk. I love them!

The Flex Advantage 2.0 shoes should have excellent arch support and comfort, so they would be recommended.

              Q:

What does wide fit mean? If one has been purchasing shoes in traditional fit, what is the difference between wide fit and a shoe size that is E rather than D?

                A:

A men's Wide Fit shoe fits a men's 2E/3E width. An Extra Wide fit should fit a 4E/5E width.

Any plans for an extra wide fit? Sole looks better and more supportive than the original flex sole.

                A:

It doesn't look like this particular Flex Advantage 2.0 shoe is going to be coming in an Extra Wide Fit version, though there may be other Flex Advantage shoes coming in the Extra Wide, since they have in the past. Currently I can recommend the Equalizer 2.0 models in the Extra Wide.
