I'm 50! For years and years I've always purchased NIKE, they were the best as far as I knew. I've owned Sketchers before but not like this. This pair, as well as a different style that I bought for my son are the most AMAZING shoe I've ever worn! I walked for HOURS yesterday at a car show that is here in Tulsa, OK. We left and my feet felt great! NOW, I will only buy Sketchers shoes!! I have two pair of NIKES, and yes they are nice, but as far as comfort goes....I'll be buying Sketchers from now on!!

I have been wearing these daily to work... I have a desk job to put things in perspective. The soles are already wearing out. The little traction nubs are practically all gone. Further on the soles they are foam with the exception of the outboard heal and big toe where they put a piece of actually sole material in the higher wear areas. The foam portion really gives you no traction I can feel my feet slip hear and there.

Second con the insole is not removable. There is no arch support in these shoes so if you want an orthotic or other insole to provide support your SOL or you need to just put it on top of the built in cushioned insole. In today's day and age who makes shoes without removable insoles? Sketchers does.

Third con. The foam sole is super cushiony. You think that is a plus but it's not. The whole sole is a foam material and it has no rigidity where needed this means less stability and also will real havoc on your back... Yes Chiropractor approved statement.

Bottom line you cannot afford these shoes they will last about a month, and cause other issues. Dear sketchers put a decent rubber sole on these, stiffen the mid arch area to stablize the shoe and make the I sold removable then you will have a decent shoe worth the msrp.

I'd wash them in a washing machine inside a pillow case. Before you do this though, make sure you rinse off the sole under the sink and pick out any mud or other gunk that's in there. You don't want that dirtying up the washer or to end up discoloring the white knit on these shoes while in the washer.

                A:

The Missing Link shoe has a Skech Knit Mesh fabric upper, so it should be okay to machine wash or hand wash these shoes to clean them. If you are machine washing, I recommend the gentle cycle cold water, place shoes in a laundry bag or pillowcase, and air dry only. For hand wash, I recommend using mild soap, warm water and a soft cloth.

I would use Barbesol shaving cream & rub it in with a rough terry face cloth & let it dry @ room temp.

If you are on the USA version of the website, sizes shown are USA sizes. Look at the top right corner of the website, and you should see the country identification.

                A:

The Flex Advantage shoes have very flexible soles that are designed to move in many directions, they have added articulation over other sole designs. They aren't specifically meant as work shoes, but should adapt to flexing and lots of walking.

                A:

I would say the Flex Advantage 2.0 has a bit lower profile and is a bit firmer-feeling than the Burst athletic shoes, which are a bit springier in the midsole. These Flex Advantage shoes should be good for most gym fitness activities and are should be nicely stabilized.

Please make this in EWW! Seems to be similar to the Equalizer 2.0's, also vegan but with a smaller heel to toe drop, which I prefer for stability.

I don't see this exact model coming in an Extra Wide Fit, but there are some similar athletic shoes such as the Equalizer 2, Burst and even the new GOrun 400 models available in the extra wide.

The Skech-Knit Mesh upper of the Flex Advantage should be able to stretch a bit, either by using a shoe tree, having them professionally stretched, or just regular wear.
