These are very comfortable shoes for working in retail on a concrete floor for 8+ hours a day. My other shoes had such thin cushioning that at the end of the day I wanted to do anything but be on my feet. The "air cooled memory foam" caught my attention and I can say that these are definitely comfortable and not half bad looking. I love the all black color as it goes with anything and hides stains from work.

My only gripes with these shoes are: 1. They tend to fit a little loose, I bought the standard width shoes and I normally wear a 10.5, I could have probably fitted into a 10 in these a little better and 2. The shoe laces are WAY too long. I have to tie them in a double knot so they don't drag on the floor.

Sizing was totally off for me on this shoe.
D width in my usual size 10 was too narrow. Definitely was giving the sides of my foot the squeeze.
Tried sizing up to a 10.5 D but it just felt too long and sloppy in the length. Too much extra shoe in front of my toes, but the width felt correct.
Tried the wide version in a 10, and OMG is it wide. It looks freakishly large. I've tried plenty of 2E shoes from New Balance and none of them necessarily look that much wider, they just provide extra material for wrapping around your foot. My foot was swimming in the 10 Wide. Ultimately, I liked the style and look of this shoe, but it was a no-go for me. Disappointed because Skechers D width is usually pretty comfortable. I've worn Skechers casual shoes in the past, and currently use Skechers Performance shoes for running, so I was definitely surprised at how off the fit was on the Flex Advantage 2.0 Happs.

If it happens to fit your foot, this might be a great shoe for you, just make sure you try it on, or order multiple sizes to try. Just be aware the Wide version looks and feels huge. It's made for seriously wide/large feet, not for someone that just needs a little bit of extra width over the D width.

                Q:

Do these fit similar to the Vortex 2? I normally wear a 2E, but the Vortex 2 is wide enough in my size that I can do the D width without issue. Does this shoe fit similar to the Vortex 2, or is is narrower that I should go with the 2E on this one?

                  A:

The Flex Advantage does not necessarily have a roomier fit at the toe and forefoot, so you may want to try these in the 2E width since it's available.

This model is currently available in all black, wide fit and size 11 and 11.5. It has the Air Cooled Memory Foam insole, which is very similar to the Gel Infused Memory Foam insole but also feels cooler. I'd recommend purchasing now from Skechers.com in order to get by Xmas.

The Flex Advantage shoes have a nice roomy toe box, so they should do fine. You may also want to take a look at the Equalizer 2.0 or Skech Flex 2.0 shoes from our Relaxed Fit collection - those shoes have even more of a roomy toe and forefoot design.

From what our customers tell us, this model as well as the Golden Point 52182 model should be able to machine wash to clean. I recommend washing on the gentle cycle cold, placing both shoes in a laundry bag or pillowcase, and air dry only.

Top rack of your dishwasher. Normal wash with no heat dry. Gentlest way to wash shoes like these. No tumbling involved and then just air dry.

These currently come in a men's Wide Fit, which is a 2E width. There are other similar shoes available in an Extra Wide Fit, which is closer to a 6E width, they're a 4E.
