I was skeptical of Skechers as a legitimate running/work out shoe, but I was surprised by it's comfort level. They are very cost efficient for the comfort they offer. They may not look as nice as other higher priced shoes, but I prefer foot comfort over style.
I love these shoes because they are flexible throughout the entire sole so that they move and curl with your feet wherever you step. They have a nice cushion that lasts longer than the memory foam in other shoes. I wear these shoes everyday and have yet to find a more comfortable pair of shoes.
comfortable shoe with flat insole that does not have an arch but is soft. Perfect for me with flat feet.
I purchased the GO FLEX 2 walking shoes last month and have enjoyed wearing them. The shoes fit very well and as expected for a sneaker type shoe (because of the good cushioning all around, the fit runs small - expect to order a half to full size larger than your actual foot measurement). Shoe is stylish in burgundy red with grey outsole and goes with a lot of outfits and occasions.
The insole is comfortable, provides good rebound, and cushioning does not fade too much with extensive walking/standing. The insoles do feel a bit unusual at first if you've never experienced the GOGA-MAX type insole - it's not memory foam, it's not air-cushioned, it's not gel, it's not traditional cushion - it's like a moderately firm, mildly squishy, extruded foam with good recovery on impact. I've worn these while walking a few miles + a few hours of standing over the course of a day with good results!
The downside to these shoes - they are rather low-cut / low-riding and do not provide much ankle support, so stability can be a concern on uneven surfaces or terrains. And with my extreme foot arches, I sometimes roll my ankle on flat, even surfaces - so I miss the higher-cut ankle support of cross-trainers and other walking shoes here.
Still, a highly recommended shoe, especially if ankle support rates low on your list of features for a shoe.

Q:I had heel surgery( comminuted calcaneus) and my physio recommends that I purchase "rocker" shoes. I recall( several years ago) purchasing sketcher rockers. Do you still sell these?
A:Shape-ups rocker bottom shoes are no longer readily available (there are still one or two sizes sold, but very few) but I would recommend a well cushioned and supportive shoe such as the Skechers GOwalk Joy design.
Q:Are the sizes shown to select for the product are US sizes or UK sizes ?
A:If you are on the USA version of the Skechers.com website - check the top right corner of the site to see what country - the sizes shown are USA sizes.
Q:will this or any other style deep enough to accept orthotics
A:This GO FLEX 2 shoe should have room for an orthotic, but the insole in this shoe is not designed to be removed. You may want to look at similar Sport shoes with the Memory Foam type insoles, as those should be somewhat easier to replace with an orthotic.
