I LOVE these shoes! I have been wearing them to work, play, church, walk the doggies, with jeans, with skirts, with socks, without socks for 6 months and they barely show the wear.
They are comfotable and sturdy. I get many compliments on them, as well as on all my Sketchers. When people ask me where I got the cute shoes I proudly say "Sketcher.com" And "I love my Sketchers!" (I own at least 7 different styles)

I purchased a pair of the Skechers Women's Work: Aboveboard-Cresent shoes in White for Nursing School. I have owned these shoes for approximately 1-2 months. The shoes stain easily and White turns off-white/yellowish when stained. These shoes are comfortable, However I feel that is their only Pro. The elastic insert on the sides of this shoe are starting to come out. Very poorly constructed and not durable. I do not recommend these shoes if you are looking for a long-lasting shoe.

I'm a bartender/server so going into the kitchen is great. I'm not afraid of slippery floors anymore. Behind the bar is great too, I have to hand wash so i get my pants and shoes wet all the time. My feet stay dry and they are very comfortable. I'm in between sizes so I got size 9 but could have used 8.5, no worries though, I just wear thick boy shocks. [...]... I went back and got the 8.5

The Crescent has a medium weight shock absorbing midsole, I have heard from customers that they are nicely comfortable.

if i want to add an insole to this shoe and i currently wear a true 7.5, should i get a 7.5 or an 8?

              A:

I would advise you to stick with a size 7.5 - these shoes have a removable insole design so you can add your own insole without having to go up a size.

This shoe, being a work shoe, is only currently made in black and white. There may be a non-work casual loafer available in a brown color.

The smooth leather upper of the Crescent should be able to be polished a bit, though it will not become a mirror-finish leather.

            Q:

The shoe says slip resistant but does it also have an oil resistant sole. I love the slip resistant feature, but, if it does not have an oil resistant sole as well, the oil will eat them up. I am a machine operator and need both features.

              A:

The Slip Resistant outsole is made of a nitrile rubber which should also be oil resistant.

In food service it works well, I can not say since we do not know what type of machine operator is giving the review.

My experience is these shoes run really big -- my usual size is so loose they fall off my feet.

The shoes does not run wide and you should get a half size bigger then your usual size for your feet.

I have a bit of a wide foot but bought the regular width because they stretch out enough by being on my feet all day.
I dont usually buy wide width so if you dont usually, I would not.
