Excellent running shoe. The Gorun Ride 7 has quickly become my favorite running shoe. Fit is very versatile with removable top sock liner. Lacing is nice and supportive without feeling restrictive. Great heel lockdown, no slippage. I never had to fiddle with the lacing to get it to fit
right. First try and I got it right. I can't say this about the lacing on any other running shoe I've had.
Cushion is perfect blend of comfort and response. Terrific for long runs, but also encourages you to go fast because of M-Strike rocker design. Very comfortable. I've been looking for my go to daily training running shoe for quite a while and I've finally found it. Skechers Performance running shoes are the real deal. This new lineup for 2018 (Forza 3, Gorun 6, Gorun Ride 7) are very promising!

I've been using while working golf and tennis tournaments. Most comfortable shoes I've ever worn.
I run approximately 60 miles per week and I use these for my longer runs. My most recent long run of 21 miles left my feet feeling great. Probably the best shoes I've ever worn and over the last 8 years of serious running, I've tried them all. I'd be comfortable wearing this shoe for every type of run. I'll definitely be buying more of the Ride 7 and not sure where they can improve upon this version. I find the upper to be socklike, supportive but stretches to accommodate your foot. The midsole has a great bounce to it without feeling overly cushioned like a Hoka. I have Hoka Cliftons and prefer the Ride to them. As a bonus, the shoe just looks good too!
I review shoes from all brands, but never gave Skechers a shot. I was able to try the GoRun Ride 7 the past few weeks, and I feel like these may be the best all around running shoes for the price. They feel great, Great Fit..and I feel like I should've gave these a chance a long time ago..

The Ride 7 is my 4th version of the Ride that I have run in. The others being versions 1,3, and 5. I guess I like the odds. Anyway, I was concerned that they had changed the shoe too much and got rid of the lace eyelet for locking down the heel. Well, I'm happy to report that the shoe still works wonderfully. The heel does feel locked down due to a deep and firmly cushioned ankle collar. Lacing over the mid foot is secure and comfortable; no hot spots. The ride of the shoe may not be as flexible as previous versions, but the smoothness and efficiency of the M-Strike midsole is great. I'm sure the FlightGen midsole is helping too. I swapped out the supplied sockliner with a thinner one to get some more interior volume. The knit upper is pretty good, decently breathable and stretchy.

Q:When will the white color be available?
A:I don't see an exact in-stock date for the white/black color yet, but it should be coming around early Summer or so.
Q:my size 9.5 in nike vomero 11 , still in this size in gorun ride 7 ?
A:From what most of our customers advise, the shoes should fit similar to most running type shoes. They should feel a bit more roomy in the toe and forefoot than other brands, but the length should compare the same.
Q:Where is this so called secondary sock liner that is in this shoe ?
A:The Ride 7 is like two shoes in one, which is awesome. If the shoe is feeling too snug for you, take out the top sock liner. It opens up the shoes overall volume and it becomes a little snappier, a little more stable, and a LOT more comfortable. Give a try. There's a soft cushioned built in liner under it. You can always pop the additional top liners back in if you're not liking it.
A:The Skechers GOrun Ride 7 should come with both insole systems in the shoe - in order to modify the roominess of the shoe you can remove the top layer of the insole and use only the bottom layer of the insole - several customers have advised that opens up the fit of the shoe and adds a more roomy feeling.
Q:Is the fit on the Gorun Ride 7 any wider than the Gorun Ride 6? I found the 6 a tiny bit too narrow for me.
A:To answer my own question now that I have a Ride 7, Yes, it does fit wider/better than the Ride 6. The removable sock liner makes it very versatile. Leave the sock liner in, and it works for narrower feet. Take the sock liner out, and the shoe's inner volume opens right up but is just as comfortable. Very supportive yet roomy. Not sure how Skechers struck such a good balance in this shoe, but they did it.
A:The Skechers GOrun Ride 7 is a new design from the GOrun Ride 6, so the fit should be different - from what I have heard it is nice and roomy.
Q:Is this a no lace shoe? Please and thank you.
A:The Skechers GOrun Ride 7 is a lace up shoe that ties.
Q:What is the difference between your FLIGHT GEN cushioning and your GEN 5 cushioning?
A:The latest Skechers GOrun shoes including the GOrun Ride 7 feature the FLIGHT GEN midsole cushioning design, this is a newer design that improves on the 5GEN design by being lighter weight and more responsive. The FLIGHT GEN will feel more well-cushioned than the 5GEN designs, and even lighter weight.
Q:What is the difference between the GoRun and GoRun Ride?
A:The Skechers GOrun platform is the lighter weight, neutral running shoe design, while the Skechers GOrun Ride platform including the new GOrun Ride 7 is a more cushioned running shoe design, still very light weight but with a more cushioned ride design than the GOrun platform.
Q:Will these be available in a size 12.5?
A:It appears that a size 12.5 will be coming later on for the Skechers GOrun Ride 7 shoes. This is more of a 'preview' of the shoes, more stock including that size should be coming in early April or so.
