I use my shoes for work, and I work in a food service department and I needed them for the the slip resistants. I purchased Spira for work (slip resistant) and they didn't work on a wet floor and they were twice the price for shoes.

I love the shoes for the comfort and the slip resistance and they do work! My feet have never hurt in these shoes and I would purchase them again.

I wear blue jeans and just a collar shirt to work.

I feel comfortable with the slip resistance. The shoes are very hard/stiff. I bought these shoes because I work in the food/bar industry. I needed slip resistance shoes. My feet ache, I don't feel there is enough cushion. I don't want to return them, but would like anouther pair that are softer. Will try putting cushions/foot soles/etc. to see if it helps. My work uses Shoes for Crews. Ordered couple of pair about a year and half ago. They were too short and too wide. Sketcher are better, but I think I just ordered the wrong style.[...]

I own a cleaning business, I have to have a white shoe as to not leave marks on the floors. I am on tile and up and down stairs all day. These shoes are great for my needs. My only complaint is that after 2 months I have to replace. They still look great on the outside but they wear out on inside.

            Q:

Usually get these at shoe carnival when they have their sale. They did not have in their store or on line. Can you tell me if shoe carnival in Augusta is carrying these anymore? Also do you have any sales that would affect the price of this shoe? Thanks. Judy

              A:

It is possible that Shoe Carnival would still be carrying these or something similar from Skechers Work - this is a somewhat older work shoe model, so it may have been replaced with something newer at that store. There are some coupon codes that can be used - if you sign up for Skechers Elite you get something.

            Q:

Do you not have these in a wide? I ordered a pair from a uniform store last year. I have to have the shoe built up on one side due to a leg length discrepancy and these are the only shoes with an even thick sole I can find.

These particular work shoes no longer come in a wide width. I could recommend style 76555 as a replacement with a similar thick even sole.

            Q:

I have had a partial knee replacement and have horrible back problems...I have a brand new pair of Reebok, KSwiss & Nikes...that hurt to wear even around the house! I have a 4-5 year old pair of Skecher Sports that are old and worn out...but the best "feel good pair" I own. What would you recommend I try for a new shoe? I live in a rural area, that does not sell Skechers, so via mail order is my only choice. Prefer white leather. Thank You

              A:

If you are looking for a white leather 'classic sneaker' design, I would recommend taking a look at the Energy, Premiums and Premium - Premix shoes, those are currently available on skechers.com. The Work shoes like this one have a similar design, but also have a Slip Resistant outsole. There are some newer shoes that are even more comfortable, like the Soleus or Shape-ups 2.0 - Perfect Comfort models.

I don't see any size 5 in the Energy - Sector coming into stock in the near future. I would recommend taking a look at the Felton - Albie or the Eldred - Dewey work shoes. The Eldred - Dewey model is in stock in a white size 5 now.

            Q:

Is this sector better for heel and ball of feet support for walking concrete 10-12 hrs daily? I also just purchased memory foam flex in Take It Easy, is this good work shoe for long periods of walking? When suggest Go Walk or Work shoes-didn't know so many other names of styles so if I look at Go Walk how do you know which style works best for comfort?

              A:

The Energy - Sector is a supportive and comfortable shoe for work, I would recommend it. The EZ Flex - Take It Easy is nicely cushioned with the Memory Foam insole, but I would not say it was the most ideal for support - You may want to look at Skechers GOwalk 2 or GOwalk Move models for a combination of light weight and support. You may also want to look at the Sure Track work shoe for a supportive comfort shoe like the Take It Easy that is more suitable for wearing at a workplace.
