The best part about these work boots is they do not feel new. You always dread the "New Boot Break in Period" but with these, there is none. Right out of the box they feel great. I am on my feet all day in a wearhouse, sometimes standing at machinery for long periods of time and I feel like I am wearing sneakers. There is no doubt in my mind that this will be the boot I will be buying in the future. Great Job Skechers!!!

Ok, I bought these shoes because I work in an industry where steel toe boots aren't required but can be good idea. I got these to replace my old skechers which the seams on the toe were coming apart after something feel on my foot. Within two months of owning these shoes the sole started to peel away from the rest of the shoe for no good reason. I still wear them because I'm stubborn and I want to get as much as I can out of an [$] pair of shoes but I don't know if I'm going to buy a replacement pair.

these shoes are great for the price, feel, and looks, I work as a machinist and I where shorts everyday and they look very good with my shorts, the comfort is un believable, I go for walks during my breaks and lunch hour at our company provided walking track and its a big change from safety boots, The only to problems I've seen with the Shoes is things such as chips from my machine and small rocks from the walking track get in side more than I would like, Also if they had memory foam like that is in my Skecher walking shoes would make them phenominal.

Great shoe for work. I used it around airplanes all day and night and it holds up well against oil, deicing fluid and skydrol. Warm in the winter too.

This particular style is currently sold out in the size 13 Wide Fit version. I could suggest the similar Soft Stride - Grinnell shoe which is in stock in a size 13 Wide Fit in black.

Will you get any of these shoes in 11 1/2 wide in stock?

I currently don't see a return date for this particular shoe in that size and width. I could recommend the similar Soft Stride - Grinnell shoe, which is currently available in that size and width.

            Q:

When ordering on your Web site I am trying to select the "wide fit" for this shoe and every time I do it becomes highlighted but as soon as I "add to cart" the highlighted "wide fit" tab turns off. When I try to check out, on my order the size appears as a "medium" and not the wide fit I selected. Does that mean that it is not in stock? I don't want to order the wrong size and have to go through the hassle of sending it back.

              A:

I tried this just now, what I think would help is to click on width and select Wide Fit first, and you should see Wide Fit highlight in blue. Then click on Size, and select the size you need, you should still see Width: Wide Fit when you select the size. Then click on Add to Cart, and the correct wide width shoe should go into your shopping cart. You can verify the correct width in the checkout phase - it will clearly say Size: 11.0 Wide Fit (or whatever size you order) in the shopping cart.

Does Sketchers sell a replacement PU insert? My husbands is worn out and the store brands do not fit right.

Currently Skechers does not sell insoles on their own. We'd recommend a gel insole or work-style insole that can be trimmed to fit.

              A:

The wide width in men's shoes is a 3E width, but sometimes steel toe shoes can fit a bit tight due to the design of the toe. These should do well in the wide width though - they are currently available in a size 12 wide width.
