These are nice light weight shoes. I've been wearing sketcher skid resistant shoes for 3 years. This was a different shoe style than I normally get. I like the light weight of them. But they were contstructed poorly as the tread fell off my right shoe after only one day. Also not great for winter, but excellent for a 15 hour shift in a restaurant. Just buy some dr scholls to put it and your food to go!

Being on my feet each day makes them an asset to any Chef running around. They feel great, they are light weight which helps with feet fatigue. These are my first pair so we will see how long they last. I work 5 days a week and about 8-12 hours a day on any given day so I want to see how they take the everyday grime of working in a kitchen. So far 5 stars!

Currently Skechers does not sell replacement insoles on their own, but just about any comfort insole would go well into the Oswald clog. I'd say a Gel insole would be good for these.

How can expedite a brake-in on these oswalds? They are tight on width and top of foot even though i bought a size big. Can they be heated and then worn to mold them to my feet (I.E. hot water)?

                      A:

I haven't heard from any customers who have tried stretching their Oswald clog using hot water or a hair dryer, though in theory that could work. You may also want to try stretching them with shoe inserts or wearing them with thick socks.

The Balder is super lightweight as it is mostly made out of plastic foam. I'd say about 6 to 9 oz. per clog depending on size. Their light weight is definitely one of the best things about this shoe.
