                  Any thought on making these boots in a composite toe? Steel toes take a long time to warm up back up in the winter compared to the comp toe.

                    I don't see an exact version of this same type of boot with a composite toe coming this year, but there are several very good composite toe boots available, especially the Radford model which is also waterproof and insulated.

                    The oiled leather upper of the Ruffneck boot is water resistant, and can be given a leather specific waterproofing treatment to make it more water resistant as well.

                    Currently the Ruffneck boot is not made in a men's wide width, though this could change. There are currently some other lace-up work boots available in a men's Wide Fit, which is a 3E width.
