Comments about Work: Radford WP Comp Toe:

I use these shoes for work. When first started wearing was delighted because they fit so well and were very comfortable. But about one month later was disappointed to find out they were not waterproof. Thought it could have been the leather uppers so oiled them well. Then in the next rain they just loaded up with water and my feet were sloshing inside. Found out the problem was with the adhesive used to join the uppers with the foot tread. It had completely let go and the two halves just separated. A full tube of "Shoe Goo" later and I have a dry shoe but factory methods really need to be examined or the Skechers name will go down quickly. Honestly, I detected very little bonding adhesive on this shoe. At this price a shoe should not fail within one month. Everything else about this shoe is great.

I wear a 9.5 in skechers shoe, what size boot should I buy?

              A:

I'd recommend trying these in either the 9.5 if you like a more snug fit, or a 10 if you plan to wear these with thicker socks or like a roomier fit.

              A:

The Radford boot is waterproof and insulated, so its outsole is more of an all terrain traction outsole than a traditional Slip Resistant traction outsole. It is designed for secure footing on snow and other outdoor surfaces.

              A:

There are some higher-shafted boots coming soon to the Skechers Work collection, there's one called the Robards that is a higher version of the Radford, and also is waterproof and insulated, though it does not have a steel toe.

What temperature for warm weather are they rated are they to warm for summer use?

              A:

I imagine that the Radford boot should feel okay up to a normal 65 or 70 degree room temperature, but they may be a bit warm at temperatures above that. They are waterproof and seam sealed, insulated with Thinsulate, but are also made to breathe a bit.
