I was a bit skeptical about ordering these shoes since there were some reviews complaining some lights issues, but I'm glad I took a chance at ordering them. I haven't had any issues with these shoes. My daughter loved them since day one and they are her favorite pair of shoes. She is still a toddler so she likes to run, crawl, jump, etc. Obviously, the shoes have some slight scrathes due to my daughter being fully active. Yet, I'd say the quality of these shoes is great. The damage my daughter inflicts on these shoes can barely be seen. I'm very happy and satisfied overall with Skechers Energy Lights and for that I will buying another pair for my daughter very soon. Thank you Skechers!

I love these shoes so much and purchased three pair in 3 colors for my son and 2 pair for me because I luckily can still fit a kids size shoe. I don't wear mines frequently but my son wore his everyday to school when we first purchased them. Unfortunately, they don't hold up on the play ground after maybe 8 days. The sole is extremely soft and we noticed that he literally burned the rubber off. These shoes are not practical for everyday use for a child. I still buy them because as I mentioned we absolutely love them. They hold a charge for a nice period of time and are a great conversation piece during outings and events. Luckily, the manager at Sketchers in Manhattan Beach California was really great to us and exchanged them but we defiantly learned our lesson.

Shoes are a hit! Bought these for my granddaughter who loved the bright shiny color. Construction is excellent. The shoes were a tad large. She has barely had them off her feet.

There was a problem the other day where he could not get the lights to go off. However, my son said that when they plugged them to recharge them, they turned off and are functioning now.

                A:

The Energy Lights do come in extended kids' sizes including some that come in a kids 7.5 and 8, which are the equivalent of a women's size 9.5 and 10. A EU 41 usually is a bit larger, but you may want to try these in the size 8, since that is the largest the kids' Energy Lights come in.

There should be no need to remove the battery for recycling. The battery and lights assembly are sealed within the midsole.

It looks like both colors should be coming back into stock around mid July or so. I recommend clicking on the out of stock size and setting an email reminder - you will be notified when that size is back in stock.

                A:

Most of the Energy Lights models for kids come in sizes up to a youth size 7, which is the equivalent of a women's size 9, so they are being bought and worn by women currently. As for sizes bigger than that, and men's sizes, we are slated to come out with Energy Lights in adult sizes (up to a men's size 13 I believe) in June or July. I know I'm getting a pair!
