The main difference between the two versions is the midsole design. Most of the Flex Appeal 2.0 models use the Dual-Lite midsole design, which is a dual-density design that is light and flexible but also nicely supportive. The Flex Appeal 3.0 use a Lite-Weight midsole design, which is even lighter and more flexible, single density and still nicely supportive. So the 3.0 versions are a bit lighter.
