I am a female working in intense labor conditions. We are required to wear steel toe, and our shoes get beat up, torn, wet, oily, etc. We alsi work 12+ hr shifts, up to 6-7 days a week. We need shoes that are comfortable and last, period.

I've only had these for about 2 months, but so far they have held up. They are also really comfortable and quite stylish. They dont make me look like im wearing clown shoes, like some other boots do. I will definitely continue to buy these as long as Sketchers makes them!

I needed non-slip work boots, which are difficult to find for women in my shoe size. I found these boots and they were seemingly perfect...non-slip, steel toe, and memory foam for comfort. They weren't heavy on my feet. However, these boots only last for about 2-3 months in a fairly wet work environment. I'm currently on my third pair in an 8 month time period. The sole separates from the bottom of the shoe, which then allows water to seep inside my shoe. The only reason why I continue to try and use this shoe is because I literally cannot find any other women's work boots that fit my needs. I would suggest avoiding these boots unless you can keep them perfectly dry at all times. Otherwise don't expect them to last longer than a couple months.

Comments about Work Relaxed Fit: Workshire - Peril ST:

I love these boots. They rub on the back of my ankle a little even with socks, but it's not bad at all.
I wore heels all night and when i got up that morning my feet felt like they had blisters on the bottom of them. I had errands to run and almost couldn't go handle them. I remembered that i got my boots the day before and that they had memory foam in them so i gave them a try and they felt heavenly. My feet didn't hurt at all when i walked in them.

The Workshire - Peril steel toe work boot complies to the ASTM standards for protection. It is not tested to a Singapore standard, but most international standards are similar to the ASTM version - you may want to check with your workplace to see if the USA standard applies.

This particulate steel toe work boot does not also feature a slip resistant outsole design. The outsole is a lug pattern that is oil resistant and has great traction. There are some D'Lites boots that are both safety toe and slip resistant, the Amasa model.

I don't think that the SKECHERS stores in the Chicago area would have this exact boot, but they would be happy to ensure you are getting the correct size, and they would order it for you with free shipping. You could also order it from Skechers.com and return it to a local Skechers Retail store if need be.

The non safety toe version of the Workshire is the Condor, which is currently available in brown, and is a Relaxed Fit model. Other work boots without safety toe are the Pettus - Enderlin and the Robards SR.

I would advise you to try something in a casual shoe from the Relaxed Fit collection if available in your Skechers Retail store - they will help you find the appropriate size, and they can also order the boot for you there in the store. If it isn't correct, returns are free, or you can also return to the store.

The sole is not rated as puncture resistant, though it is a good solid rubber outsole that should resist most regular punctures.
