Comments about Game Kicks - Replacement Remote Control:
The remote control is intended to slide into a pocket on the outside of the shoe, on the inside of the foot where it is less likely to be banged up while walking, minimal chance of it getting kicked. Although the pocket has a flap, the controller is very small. Children being children, it will likely be lost at some point. It is only about as thick as a Hershey's chocolate bar, very light, and smaller than the size of a credit card. Overall, simple, ingenious, and functional, and especially nice to have the option of an inexpensive replacement in case the original that comes with the shoe breaks or is lost. I personally suggest ordering one as soon as you order the shoes so that you can keep it as a backup. Realistically, the cost is minimal and about par with a single fast food meal.

Q:The shoes work, but the remote that came with the shoes won't work? I can't play the game with the remote??
A:The Remote that comes with the Game Kicks 2 should be able to work if you follow the activating sequence - you hit the remote button on the shoe first, which sends the signal to the remote, then you press the activate button on the remote, which should get it to start working. You may want to check to see if you need to remove a tab or something as well, some customers have reported the shoes and the remotes have safety tabs when they're new.
Q:How do you get the remote to work from the beginning? Just got the sneakers, read instructions, but it doesn't seem to work.
A:You may want to check to see if there is a tab that needs to be removed on these or on the shoes. It should work the same as the remote that came with the shoes originally.
Q:I just bought the shoes. I don't need a replacement remote. The shoes are not working. They won't even turn on. Can you help me out or do I need to take them back?
A:There is a white tab inside shoe. You need to pull that out first.
A:You may want to try giving the shoes a few robust taps heel first, then try the buttons to start the game again. The game should be able to be activated with the button on the shoe as well as the button on the remote, but it's usually easier to start the game using the shoe controls. If none of these work, you may want to look into an exchange.
