I left my Skechers back home in California thinking my river sandals would work for walking around Disney World all day. But after the first 2 days my feet were sore and raw, making me miserable. Told my husband I needed to find a store that sold Skechers as we still had 2 more Disney parks to do as well as the Kennedy Space Center. We found a Skechers store that evening in Orlando. I liked the look of this style so I slipped my feet into a pair of gray, size 7, shoes. Oh my, what a difference! My feet felt sooo much better! It was like I had stuck them into soft cool pillows! I walked around the store and they still felt good. So good that I bought ankle socks as well so I could wear these wonderful shoes out of the store. I wore them every day of our trip after that and they were awesome at keeping my feet from feeling so miserably sore. From now on, if there is going to be a lot of walking and standing to do, my Skechers are going with me!

I bought these shoes a couple weeks ago because they felt really comfortable in the store with the memory foam support and knit top. The first time I wore them, I got really uncomfortable blisters on the back of my feet. Not realizing they were from these shoes, I wore them again the next day at which point I realize the fabric at the back of the shoe had already worn away which was causing the hard support to hit against the back of my foot, causing the awful blisters. If it were possible, I would return them.

These shoes are only for style. Any walking will quickly wear them out and cause pain.

Comments about Flex Appeal 2.0 - High Energy:

I bought the FLEX APPEAL 2.0 - HIGH ENERGY in charcoal/coral in June 2017. Really like it that the color of sole is not a bright white or black. Those are the two choices that seem to be out there. I also found them extremely comfortable. They are not available anymore in any stores, that I know of. I bought a black pair now, before they are all gone, which I do not like so much because of the strong contrast in color to the white sole.

Size 12 Flex Appeal High Energy Have Changed My Life!

          By

          from Long Beach

Comments about Flex Appeal 2.0 - High Energy:

So far, with the caveat I put them on like ski boots from the '60's, sit in a chair, slip it on one foot, then tap my heel into the floor so the heel is as far back in the shoe as possible, before tying the laces, then I do the other foot identical . . . and knot the bow, so the laces don't come undone . . . They were snug with cotton athletic socks, but I broke them in by wearing them in the house on hard wood floors. The fabric-style upper is stretching over my foot, a size 11 in Merrell and Aerosoles (but I bought size 12 in Aerosoles with a Dr. Scholl's insert for comfort), so these run small, and as I said, the upper has give.

With titanium screws in one heel and with the other foot a little larger, and being that I am obese (250 lbs), Flex Appeal 2.0 - High Energy offer good support and comfort, and the shock absorbing mid sole bounces my foot forward in its next step, so they're energizing. Bought a pair for outdoors walking and one for indoors t-tapp exercising, as we leave our outdoor shoes in the foyer for cleanliness. T-tapp is new level of stability with help to maintain the t-tapp form. Terese Tapp spoke well of skechers some 20 years ago, is how I discovered them, then went through three pairs of Shape Ups.

The Flex Appeal shoes should do well in most weather - you may want to apply a fabric protectant such as Scotchguard or Skechers Water Proofer spray to the fabric upper.

Slate is more of a light blue color. The knit fabric has light blue, gray and white tones, but the midsole stripe is that light blue shade.

The Flex Appeal 2.0 - High Energy shoe should be able to be machine washed to clean, from what we hear from other customers. I recommend washing on the gentle cycle cold, placing the shoes in a similar-colored laundry bag or pillowcase, and air dry only.

The Flex Appeal shoes have a good traction outsole. They are not considered to be a Slip Resistant type shoe if you are looking for a workplace type shoe. There are many similar models that do have the Slip Resistant type outsole in our Work category.

                A:

A women's shoe in a Wide Fit width is a D width, and most Skechers Sport shoes have roomy toe boxes besides that. This is not made in an Extra Wide, but you may want to look at the men's version of the shoes - they are very similarly made - the Flex Advantage 2.0. You could order the Wide Fit (2E width) for men, and the conversion is two whole sizes down - a women's 10 Extra Wide would be a men's 8 Wide Fit.
