The BOBS from Skechers Paws for a Cause Design Scholarship program helps budding creatives pursue their education, as well as shelter pets through their personal stories.
Elle Dalby and Her Dog Jack
A freshman at Penn State - Altoona, Ele Dalby was introduced to animal rescue at a young age through her family's four dogs, each of whom is pictured in her winning Paws for a Cause print. Saving and re-homing these four-legged friends left a lasting impact, showing Elle firsthand how caring for an animal in need can change lives for the better.
Anelya Sapar
From rescuing a cat to volunteering at a local shelter one summer in her native Kazakhstan, School of Visual Arts freshman Anelya Sapar is no stranger to supporting animals when they need it most. These experiences taught Anelya how to feel empathy and love toward the animals she was caring for - so much so, that she decided to honor them through her winning Paws for a Cause design.
