Pros: Extremely comfortable and very light. Looks good too but I am told, they look like moccasins.

Cons: Diagonal crease developed in just a week of use. Also, the top has a mesh that traps dirt easily.

I will return and hope that they come up with better design/materials of the top.

A 4E/5E width is more of the Extra Wide fit on our site. In that width, there are shoes such as the Burst, GOrun 400, and Equalizer 2.0 models. There is also a casual slip on, the Superior - Milford, available in the Extra Wide Fit.

Currently Skechers does not sell the Memory Foam insoles on their own, though you may want to contact Customer Service to see if they can replace your shoes.

                A:

The Equalizer shoes do have a good traction outsole, but they are not considered to be a Slip Resistant shoe if you need that type of shoe for a workplace requirement. The Flex Advantage - McAllen SR shoe style 77048 is a very similar design sporty slip on that does have the Slip Resistant outsole.

                A:

The insoles of the CHAR colored Persistent are topped with red fabric. I'd recommend giving the insole of the shoes a spray with Scotchgard or a similar fabric protectant product to help keep the red on the sole and off your feet. The dye should not affect the color of the shoe, but I would recommend removing the insole if that's a concern when you wash these. Or clean by hand using mild soap, warm water and a soft cloth.

                A:

The best thing to do when looking for wide width shoes is just to use the wide width. If you use both at the same time, you select shoes that are in stock in a 10.5 medium as well (our new website will fix that issue). The Equalizer - Persistent in the 10.5 black wide width should be coming back into stock around early to mid August or so.

I just purchased a pair of equalizer persistent shoes and want to wear them without socks. Is there a a rule of thumb for this type of usage as causing feet to sweat more than usual from the memory foam or any guidance you could offer would be appreciated.

For the most part, most customers don't report they are having any sweating issues with these shoes due to the Memory Foam insole - though if that is the case, you may want to wear these with no-show socks or foot liners at first.
